Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tony Bison (ranked 1907 p4p, 204 weight class) and Dan Sergeant (ranked 3528 p4p, 323 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Bison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Sergeant! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bison lands a front kick. Nice shot lands for Sergeant. Bison seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Bison moves away from the strike by Sergeant. Sergeant closes the distance and clinches up with Bison, looking for a takedown. Sergeant pushes Bison against the cage but Bison circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bison is looking to clinch but Sergeant is avoiding it.
Sergeant is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bison sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bison chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bison fails in his attempt to clinch. Sergeant tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. That's better than Sergeant was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sergeant is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bison's shoulder. That is not cool. Sergeant working away. Bison throws Sergeant to one side and escapes! Bison pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bison connects with a solid leg kick. Sergeant shoots in and bounces Bison off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sergeant slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bison is looking to regain half guard here but Sergeant keeps moving and retains side control. Sergeant in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Sergeant moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sergeant creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. A lull in the action here as Sergeant stalls from top position. Bison knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sergeant on the ground.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Sergeant is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bison is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sergeant is looking to take a break and control but Bison is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Check out the look on Sergeant's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

That's going to take a lot out of Dan Sergeant. Bison moves into the clinch. Bison stalling in the clinch but Sergeant improves position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bison utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Bison pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Bison keeps control of Sergeant as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Sergeant tries for a takedown but Bison manages to get underhooks.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Sergeant has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Dan Sergeant has got the better of the ground game so far. Bison is in bad spot here.

Dan Sergeant showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Tony Bison has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dan Sergeant is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Bison throws a nice looking combination but Sergeant bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Tony Bison showed his dominance in that final round. I think Sergeant has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
