And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodman goes for a double leg but Gonzalez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gonzalez continues to drive forward.
Goodman darts in looking for a takedown but Gonzalez gets double underhooks and turns Goodman into the cage.
Goodman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Palmer Goodman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Goodman thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gonzalez if he has to take too many more of those.
Nice sprawl there from Gonzalez as Goodman shoots in.
Gonzalez lands with a big left! Goodman is wobbled badly! Gonzalez comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Goodman to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ricardo Gonzalez decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
