Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Taras Vovchanchyn (ranked 6621 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donold Trenchard (ranked 3246 p4p, 67 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taras Vovchanchyn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donold Trenchard! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vovchanchyn gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Trenchard won't allow Vovchanchyn to get back to his feet. Trenchard looking to pass the guard. Trenchard won't allow Vovchanchyn to get back to his feet. Trenchard is looking to work some ground and pound but Vovchanchyn has wrist control. Trenchard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Vovchanchyn is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vovchanchyn wriggles free and stands up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trenchard instigates a clinch. Vovchanchyn working hard to break the clinch. Trenchard pulls guard successfully.

Trenchard looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Vovchanchyn scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Vovchanchyn wants to pass the guard but Trenchard is defending well. Vovchanchyn is keen to just control but Trenchard is a slippery customer. Vovchanchyn slows the pace down in half guard. Vovchanchyn is working for a kimura but Trenchard is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Trenchard is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vovchanchyn pulls his head out easily. Vovchanchyn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Trenchard is just riding it out for now. Vovchanchyn eventually gives up the hold. Trenchard is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Vovchanchyn scores with a couple of nice shots. Trenchard looking for submissions off his back. Trenchard tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vovchanchyn looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Vovchanchyn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Trenchard keeps working. Trenchard looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Vovchanchyn is taking a breather. Trenchard says something to him but it's hard to make out. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Vovchanchyn performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Vovchanchyn trying to mount his opponent but Trenchard defends it. Trenchard is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vovchanchyn pulls his head out easily. Vovchanchyn is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Vovchanchyn is looking to take a break and control but Trenchard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Vovchanchyn is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Trenchard is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Trenchard looking for submissions off his back. Trenchard wants to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Donold Trenchard will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Trenchard shoots for a takedown but Vovchanchyn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Vovchanchyn throwing a counter right hand but Trenchard manages to avoid it. Vovchanchyn lands a jab to the nose. Trenchard ducks right into an uppercut from Vovchanchyn. Trenchard doesn't manage to clinch there - Vovchanchyn circles away.
Trenchard fails with a takedown attempt. Vovchanchyn is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Trenchard can do to turn this around? Vovchanchyn scores with a nice head shot. A left and a right from Vovchanchyn both land. Nice combination. Vovchanchyn cracks Trenchard with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Trenchard looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Donold Trenchard has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Trenchard trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Vovchanchyn is looking to stand up but Trenchard isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vovchanchyn has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Trenchard off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Trenchard closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vovchanchyn circles away. Taras Vovchanchyn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donold Trenchard. Trenchard misses with a takedown and Vovchanchyn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Trenchard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vovchanchyn tries to avoid it but Trenchard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vovchanchyn to the ground. Vovchanchyn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Vovchanchyn lands with a nice body punch. Vovchanchyn scores with a body shot.
Trenchard is breathing heavily. Vovchanchyn cracks Trenchard with a good jab. Trenchard closes the distance but Vovchanchyn moves to the side and Vovchanchyn counters with a nice uppercut. Trenchard takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trenchard shoots for a double leg takedown but Vovchanchyn sprawls well. He's pushed Trenchard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vovchanchyn thuds his right hand into Trenchard's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Trenchard is looking to clinch but Vovchanchyn is avoiding it.
Trenchard takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Vovchanchyn slaps away a takedown attempt from Trenchard, before circling back to the center of the mat. Vovchanchyn lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Trenchard has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vovchanchyn finds it's way round the side to connect with Trenchard's head. Vovchanchyn throws a body punch but Trenchard moves out of range. Trenchard tries to move into range but Vovchanchyn moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Trenchard has a takedown stuffed.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trenchard misses with a takedown attempt - Vovchanchyn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Trenchard moves forwards but Vovchanchyn connects with a nice, crisp jab. Trenchard walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Trenchard is rocked! Vovchanchyn scores with a nice head shot. Trenchard is still on wobbly legs! Can Vovchanchyn finish him? Vovchanchyn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Trenchard. Trenchard seems to have recovered his senses. Vovchanchyn scores with the left hand. Trenchard knows he should have avoided that one. Vovchanchyn feints a jab promting Trenchard to slip. Vovchanchyn then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Trenchard slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Trenchard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vovchanchyn sprawls well. Vovchanchyn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Trenchard gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vovchanchyn paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Vovchanchyn stuffs the takedown attempt from Trenchard. Trenchard gets slowly back to his feet. Trenchard shoots in for a double leg but Vovchanchyn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Vovchanchyn scores with a jab to the body. Trenchard misses with a combination
and Vovchanchyn counters with a one-two to the body. Vovchanchyn is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. A punch lands to the side of Trenchard 's head but he takes it in his stride. Vovchanchyn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Trenchard. Trenchard shoots and misses and Vovchanchyn counters with a series of strikes. Trenchard will be more careful next time no doubt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Taras Vovchanchyn dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Trenchard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Trenchard lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Trenchard goes for a double leg but Vovchanchyn avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Vovchanchyn continues to drive forward. Vovchanchyn swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Trenchard shoots in and drives through. Vovchanchyn sprawls well. Trenchard walks into a left hand. Vovchanchyn lands a left and a right that send Trenchard crashing to the mat, dazed. Vovchanchyn thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Donold Trenchard is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Trenchard fails with a takedown attempt. Taras Vovchanchyn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donold Trenchard. Trenchard misses with a takedown and Vovchanchyn counters with a big right hand! Oh Trenchard is in trouble here! Vovchanchyn follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
