And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ethan Sheehy!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheehy lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Sheehy throws the left hand but Lentz avoids the punch easily.
Lentz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sheehy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sheehy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Lentz closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sheehy did well to prevent Lentz getting side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sheehy is looking for a sweep. Lentz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Lentz seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sheehy for as long as he can get away with.

Lentz is taking a breather. Sheehy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Lentz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lentz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lentz tries to stand but Sheehy is controlling his head.

Lentz has an Americana. Sheehy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Lentz is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lentz hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
