The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan takes one to the side of the head.

It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut.
Poppa connects with a body shot that sends Hogan's belly button to the back.
Hogan tries to close the distance and clinch but Poppa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hogan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Poppa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Poppa slaps away a takedown attempt from Hogan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Poppa lands a jab to the nose.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Poppa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hogan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Poppa as he avoids it easily.
Poppa swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hulk Hogan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Poppa dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hogan is breathing heavily.
Hogan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Poppa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Hulk Hogan's cut is getting worse.
Poppa scores with a shot to the body.
Hogan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Poppa lands with a nice body punch.
Poppa wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hogan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A jab lands there for Poppa.

Hulk Hogan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Poppa ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jeez, Hulk Hogan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Poppa digs a good body shot into Hogan's ribs.
Hogan looks up at the clock. Bad move! Poppa lands a right hand from hell, dropping Hogan. Poppa pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
