Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Midnight Rider!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arany Dali!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dali with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rider to score with a decent uppercut.
Dali slips a straight right by Rider.
Dali throws a counter combo.
Good standup being displayed there by Dali as he connects with a hook.


It looks like Midnight Rider has been cut.
Rider misses with a lunging right hand
and Dali counters with a stiff right hand.
Dali lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Dali feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rider's calf.
We've been hearing reports that Rider has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Dali swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Dali lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Rider fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Dali checks it well.
Dali blocks a jab.
Dali buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dali bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dali connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dali avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rider rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dali counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Dali misses with a wild body shot.
A big left from Rider misses.
Rider tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rider throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dali takes a jab right on the kisser.
Rider pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rider connects with an inside leg kick.
Rider misses with a hook.
A big left from Rider misses.
Dali uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rider.
Dali uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Good standup being displayed there by Dali as he connects with a hook.


Midnight Rider's cut is getting worse.
Rider lands a head kick!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dali lands a big head kick that sends Rider to the canvas! Dali follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arany Dali!
Midnight Rider was interviewed post fight and said 'Oh well, twist one'.
