Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Anderson (ranked 3208 p4p, 377 weight class) and Dave Beast (ranked 3065 p4p, 360 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Beast! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Beast sprawls well. Beast wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet. A combination from Anderson does no damage. No luck for Anderson with that takedown attempt. Beast tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Anderson dives in and scores a takedown into Beast's guard. Anderson is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at IC&E Academy that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Anderson looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beast wants to get back to his feet but Anderson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Anderson won't allow Beast to sweep him here. Anderson is working Beast over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Anderson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Anderson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Anderson seems to be working for a kimura but Beast defends the submission attempt. Beast wants to control but Anderson is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Anderson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Anderson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Anderson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Our spies down at at Fresh INC inform us that Beast has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Beast is trying to keep Anderson in close.

Beast tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Anderson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Beast can do to turn this around? No luck with that takedown attempt from Anderson. Beast is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Mark Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Beast defends well and Anderson ends up having to push Beast into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Beast looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anderson is one step ahead there.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Beast is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Anderson defends well. Anderson forces his way into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Beast is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Anderson pulls his head out easily. Anderson seems to be working for a kimura but Beast defends the submission attempt.

A close second round but Dave Beast will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Beast leaves Anderson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Beast changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Anderson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Anderson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beast sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anderson somewhat. Beast misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Anderson.

Anderson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Anderson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Beast's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Beast's back! Anderson controlling well, preventing Beast from escaping the position.

Beast lands a couple of digs. Anderson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Anderson tries to get out of the position. Anderson has momentary wrist control but Beast slips an elbow through the middle. Anderson wants to sweep here but Beast controlling him for the moment. Beast scoring with punches to the head and body. Anderson managing to control the position. Beast wants to pass the guard but Anderson is keeping the position. Beast lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beast throwing strikes from guard but Anderson blocks nicely. Anderson is pulling down on Beast's head to control his posture. Beast cracks Anderson with a solid left hand. Beast keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Anderson's head. Beast scoring with punches to the head and body. Anderson is trying to keep Beast in close.
Anderson wants to stand but Beast is controlling the position. Beast wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Beast distracts Anderson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Anderson is rocked! Beast lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Oh Anderson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Beast chips away with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Beast is controlling him. Beast loads up on a big left hand. Anderson felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Beast looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Anderson can't hide his disappointment, as Beast celebrates the victory.
