The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lima clinches up against the cage.
Lima jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bam walks away with a smile on his face. Lima gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lima misses with a left hand
and Bam counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bam blocks a head kick by Lima.
Bam works the jab nicely.
Lima moves in looking to clinch but Bam pushes him off.
Lima looks for a takedown but Bam sprawls well.
Bam stuffs the takedown attempt from Lima. Lima gets slowly back to his feet.
Tam Bam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcelinho Lima.
Sloppy strikes from Bam. Those never looked like landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Bam counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Lima tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bam swats him away and circles back towards the center.
As Lima looks to move away, Bam throws a big counter combo but Lima just gets out of the way.

and Bam counters with a series of strikes. Lima will be more careful next time no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bam throws a series of strikes that have Lima backpedaling.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tam Bam is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lima throws a body punch but Bam moves out of range.

and Bam counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Bam slips a jab from Lima.
Marcelinho Lima seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Bam connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lima or perhaps it was just good defense by Bam, which made it look bad.
As Lima looks to move away, Bam throws a big counter combo but Lima just gets out of the way.

and Bam counters with a three punch combo that has Lima backing up. Lima nods at Bam to acknowledge the strikes.

Bam went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Bam pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lima back to the cage. Bam follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
