PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Randleman (ranked 968 p4p, 106 weight class) and Samuel Douglas (ranked 1082 p4p, 125 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Douglas's choice of entrance music: Bob Marley - Three Little Birds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Samuel Douglas!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Randleman as he checks the leg kick.
Randleman fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Randleman fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Douglas to the ground. Randleman is now in Douglas's guard.

Douglas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Randleman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Randleman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Randleman is nestled in close to Douglas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
