Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Franco Rovati!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahroof tries to land a body kick
and Rovati connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rovati dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rovati jabs Mahroof to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Mahroof tries for a takedown but Rovati circles away easily
and Rovati counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mahroof moves to clinch but Rovati breaks away
and Rovati counters with a stiff right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick by Mahroof misses
letting Rovati counter with a right hand.
Rovati jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Mahroof tries for a takedown but Rovati circles away easily
and Rovati counters with a huge left! Mahroof is in big trouble! He's backing up but Rovati isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Mahroof from any more damage. A dominating finish by Rovati!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Franco Rovati!
Franco Rovati was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
