Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oswaldo Aguilar (ranked 6291 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Borrego (ranked 6168 p4p, 0 weight class). Borrego comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Thunderstruck-by ACDC kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Oswaldo Aguilar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Borrego! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borrego closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A short right from Borrego. Aguilar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Borrego feints a jab promting Aguilar to slip. Borrego then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Aguilar slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Oswaldo Aguilar has been cut. Borrego closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Aguilar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Borrego lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Borrego throws a one two combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Borrego fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Borrego gets a clinch. Borrego lands an uppercut. Borrego pushes Aguilar back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Aguilar is trying to force a seperation but Borrego has the dominant position. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Borrego creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Borrego is trying to break free. Borrego pushes Aguilar back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. A shot in the inside from Borrego.
That's one minute gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Aguilar's face as he tries to break the clinch. Borrego scores with a shot to the side of Aguilar's head.
Aguilar is rocked! Aguilar looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Oh Aguilar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Borrego should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Borrego makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A left hand lands to the body for Borrego.
Nice body punch from Borrego - that landed with a thud.
Aguilar is breathing heavily. Borrego dips a shoulder and cracks Aguilar with a mighty uppercut! Aguilar falls back against the cage and Borrego unloads with a barrage of strikes! Aguilar is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Borrego screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Borrego! An out of breath Mark Borrego thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
