Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Graves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slot Waster! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waster with a poor takedown and Graves counters by moving into the clinch. Graves landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

It looks like Slot Waster has been cut. Waster looks winded! Graves unloads a knee to the mid-section. Waster lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Graves crunches a lovely knee into Waster's ribcage. A short left from Graves. Graves effectively controlling the action here. Graves lands a knee to the body.
Graves definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A nice right hand lands inside from Graves. Waster wants to break the clinch but can't.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Waster has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Graves is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Waster is trying to pull guard but Graves turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Graves lands a good knee to the midsection. Waster won't want to take too many of those. Graves unloads a knee to the mid-section. Waster lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Waster is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Graves to keep the fight standing. Nick Graves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slot Waster. Graves landing knees to the body.
Graves lands a nice knee to the body. Graves working some nice short punches in the clinch. Graves lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Waster backwards. Graves crunches a lovely knee into Waster's ribcage. Graves connects with a knee to the head.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Graves obliges. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Graves displaying some good clinch control by pressing Waster up against the cage. Graves lands with a short shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Waster trying to stall but Graves improves his position.
Waster tries to pull guard but Graves holds him up against the cage and eventually Waster drops back down to his feet.
Waster looking to slow down the pace here. Graves connects with a nasty looking knee right to Waster's face.

Graves lands with a short head shot on the inside. Graves scores with a knee to the head.
Graves crunches a lovely knee into Waster's ribcage. Waster jumps guard but Graves stands there with Waster around his waist. Waster gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Graves working Waster over with knees to the body. Knees to the body from Graves.
Still in the clinch, Graves scores with a nice short uppercut. Graves drops Waster with a big knee straight up the middle! Waster is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Waster is rocked! The fight moves into the clinch position. Waster is still on wobbly legs! Can Graves finish him? Graves is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Waster seems to have recovered his senses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Graves has Waster pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Waster is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Graves - that's hurt Waster badly! Oh, another knee lands and Waster is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Waster doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Nick Graves! Our winner, Nick Graves, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
