Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mon Ster (ranked 1054 p4p, 30 weight class) and Colin McLauhglin (ranked 2457 p4p, 73 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mon Ster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Colin McLauhglin! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ster tests McLauhglin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Colin McLauhglin has been cut. McLauhglin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McLauhglin there as he acknowledges the shot. Mon Ster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McLauhglin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. McLauhglin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. McLauhglin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. McLauhglin looks like he wants to counter punch here. McLauhglin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ster.
Ster misses with a wild body shot. Ster throws a low kick but McLauhglin avoids it. Ster throws a right hand that McLauhglin ducks under and follows up with a left that McLauhglin also avoids with ease. McLauhglin slips a straight right by Ster. McLauhglin looks to land a body kick but Ster moved away. Ster keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McLauhglin throws a jab when Ster was well out of range. Ster throws a big shot that misses. Ster has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Ster walks into a jab.

McLauhglin is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. McLauhglin tries to free his leg and advance position but Ster is retaining full guard. McLauhglin works over Ster with some ground and pound from guard. Ster wants to sweep here but McLauhglin controlling him for the moment. Ster connects with a good right hand that stumbles McLauhglin. McLauhglin circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Ster throws an off balance right hand
and Ster takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Ster throws a hook to the side of McLauhglin's head but McLauhglin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. McLauhglin moves forwards but Ster connects with a nice, crisp jab. McLauhglin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ster misses with a double jab.
McLauhglin shoots for a double leg takedown but Ster sprawls well. He's pushed McLauhglin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A little feinted left hand from Ster on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Ster misses with a leg kick and McLauhglin counters with a nice uppercut.
Mon Ster's cut is getting worse. Sloppy strikes from Ster. Those never looked like landing. McLauhglin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

McLauhglin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ster. Ster lands a nice shot to the body. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ster creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. McLauhglin pushes Ster back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. McLauhglin blocking some punches.

McLauhglin cracks Ster with a nice body shot. McLauhglin digs a right hand into Ster's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Ster's gas tank. Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Colin McLauhglin! After the fight, Colin McLauhglin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
