Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Jacobs (ranked 430 p4p, 55 weight class) and Arthur Pendragon (ranked 1380 p4p, 160 weight class). Pendragon has chosen Avatar-Smells Like A Freakshow as his entrance music. Arthur Pendragon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pendragon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jacobs momentarily.
Pendragon scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A nice leg kick lands there from Pendragon.
Pendragon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pendragon is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
A cross from Pendragon lands.
Jacobs with a lazy takedown attempt
and Pendragon makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jacobs looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pendragon is fending him off so far but Jacobs persists. Nope, Pendragon circles away and we're back to standing.
A nice side step and Pendragon releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Pendragon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rodney Jacobs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pendragon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pendragon stuffs the takedown attempt from Jacobs. Jacobs gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodney Jacobs. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jacobs takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
