Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trey Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juuso Roininen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trey Cobb has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trey Cobb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juuso Roininen! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roininen throws a head kick that misses. Roininen displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. No joy there for Roininen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Roininen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cobb sees it coming and avoids it easily. The fight moves into the clinch position. Roininen manages to pull guard.
Roininen wants to stand and escape but Cobb is having none of it. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Roininen wants to control the position but Cobb says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Roininen has one foot on Cobb's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Cobb misses with a head kick.
No luck for Roininen with that takedown attempt. Roininen looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Roininen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Cobb takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Cobb darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Cobb moves nicely into side control. Roininen stops Cobb from passing to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roininen looking for a sweep but Cobb has passed into full mount! Oh no! Roininen is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roininen defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Cobb. Cobb wants to finish this one by submission but Roininen is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cobb.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roininen is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Trey Cobb will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Cobb scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Roininen prevents Cobb from improving position. Roininen is trying to improve his position. Who's going to make the next move? Roininen is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobb working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Cobb tries for a kimura but Roininen is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Roininen bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobb moves into the clinch. Roininen tries for a takedown but Cobb manages to get underhooks.
Roininen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Juuso Roininen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Roininen forces Cobb back against the cage and clinches. Cobb is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Roininen tries to pull guard but Cobb holds him up against the cage and eventually Roininen drops back down to his feet.
Cobb gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Roininen regains guard.
Roininen pulls Cobb in close to prevent any damage. Cobb looking to pass the guard. Cobb drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cobb jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Trey Cobb dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Roininen with a lazy takedown attempt and Cobb counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Cobb prevents Roininen from getting back to his feet. Cobb could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Cobb stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roininen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobb advances position into side control! Roininen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cobb is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Roininen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Trey Cobb is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roininen tries to improve position but can't. Cobb controlling the position from side mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobb tries for a kimura but Roininen is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roininen is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Cobb asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Roininen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Cobb's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Cobb! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Roininen has tapped! This one is allllll over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Trey Cobb!
