Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Corn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ashley Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Corn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Stevens listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Stevens swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Corn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Stevens jabs Corn to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A low kick from Stevens misses
and Corn counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Corn rushes Stevens and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Corn lands a hook to the side of the head.
Stevens is looking to break free of the clinch but Corn has double underhooks.
A nice left hand lands by Corn.
Corn lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Corn throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Stevenss head.

Stevens is rocked!
Stevens blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Stevens is still on wobbly legs! Can Corn finish him?
A head punch on the inside from Corn fails to land.
Stevens tries to work over Corn's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Nice body punch from Corn.
Stevens looks winded!
Corn works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A head punch on the inside from Corn fails to land.
Stevens blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Corn tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Corn misses with some punches.
A left hand lands to the body for Corn.
Corn swings wildly with an uppercut but Stevens uses good head movement to avoid it.
Stevens blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Corn has a couple of punches blocked by Stevens.
Stevens seems to have recovered his senses.
Stevens's coach down at Spar Bros was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stevens's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Corn lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Corn has Stevens pressed against the ropes, preventing Stevens from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Corn lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Corn breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Stevens with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Stevens looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Stevens get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jimmy Corn!
A very excited looking Jimmy Corn made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Ashley Stevens was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you all for coming out here, I hope we helped make it enjoyable. I don't really know what comes next; I'm gonna go back to Montreal and keep training, Hopefully I did well enough in this fight to move up in the standings so I can get another fight. This guy is a tough dude and he's also very s'.
