Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Carnera (ranked 5025 p4p, 557 weight class) and David Hamil (ranked 5286 p4p, 577 weight class). Carnera comes to the ring accompanied by Bad Religion - Infected. Hamil comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I want to know what love is kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mauro Carnera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, David Hamil! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carnera misses with a straight left. Hamil shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hamil takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hamil with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Carnera to score with a decent uppercut. Hamil will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. An attempted straight right counter from Carnera misses the target. Carnera with a nice cross.
It looks like David Hamil has been cut. Hamil scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Hamil wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Carnera, who protects the arm well. That's one minute gone in the round. Hamil is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Carnera is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Carnera is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Invictus MMA , so we'll see if he gets out of it. Carnera tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hamil is looking to take a break and control but Carnera is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hamil working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hamil tries to advance to mount but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Carnera is trying to improve his position. Hamil swings around for an armbar but Carnera sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hamil's guard. Hamil looking for subs off his back but Carnera has passed one foot through into half guard.
Hamil is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are battling for position here. Hamil manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hamil is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Carnera is aware though and is defending well. Hamil trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carnera advances to half guard. Carnera trying to control from Hamil's half guard. Hamil has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Carnera knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hamil on the ground. Hamil is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hamil looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Carnera gets full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carnera keeping full guard, as Hamil tries to pass. Hamil slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hamil tries to free his leg and advance position but Carnera is retaining full guard. Carnera looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hamil puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Carnera is staying active underneath Hamil, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Carnera is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hamil wants to control but Carnera is keeping him busy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hamil is working for a submission of some sort.

A close round but David Hamil will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on David Hamil's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Carnera dips to his left and cracks Hamil with an uppercut! Hamil shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Hamil is thwarting Carnera's attempts to control the position. Hamil takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Carnera has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hamil is working away from the top position though. Hamil trying to control the action but Carnera is working from the bottom. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hamil takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hamil ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hamil will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Carnera throws a shot to the body.
Carnera changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Hamil is breathing heavily. Carnera scores with a hook to the body. Hamil takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Carnera lands a nice shot to the body.
Carnera is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Carnera scores with a jab to the head.
Hamil drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Carnera scores with a jab to the body. Hamil takes a shot right to the bread basket. Carnera darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Hamil is rocked! Hamil walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Hamil limp body while Carnera jumps on to the ropes and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mauro Carnera! Mauro Carnera decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. David Hamil was interviewed post fight and said 'baby baby baby doll'.
