Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Njord Norden (ranked 3160 p4p, 389 weight class) and Avraam Papadopoulos (ranked 5247 p4p, 555 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Norden might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Norden.
Papadopoulos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Norden.
Norden misses with a low kick.
Papadopoulos looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Papadopoulos circles away from the clinch attempt.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Papadopoulos checks a leg kick.
Norden throws a leg kick but Papadopoulos checks it.

Norden instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Norden tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Papadopoulos avoids it.
Norden gets through Papadopoulos's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Norden's jab looks to have found its range, popping Papadopoulos under the eye.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Norden has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Papadopoulos.

Papadopoulos throws a looping overhand right but Norden ducks down to avoid it.
Norden takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Papadopoulos lands a left and a right that send Norden crashing to the mat, dazed. Papadopoulos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Norden is rocked!

It looks like Njord Norden has been cut.
Norden misses with a left hand
and Papadopoulos counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Norden out cold! What a finish! Papadopoulos is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
