Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Columbus Hayden (ranked 24688 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaa Aaa (ranked 6272 p4p, 0 weight class). Aaa Aaa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Columbus Hayden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaa Aaa!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aaa lands with a nice body punch.
Aaa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hayden throws a head kick but Aaa moves out of range.
Aaa misses with a double jab.
Hayden swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hayden really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Aaa fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hayden blocks the body kick.

Aaa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hayden was covering up waiting for the punch and Aaa finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Hayden has his feet on Aaa's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Hayden moves in looking to clinch but Aaa pushes him off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aaa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Aaa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hayden's guard.
Hayden wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Aaa manages to pass to side control.

Aaa is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aaa stalling away here and it's allowed Hayden to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Aaa wants to pass the guard but Hayden is keeping the position.

Hayden has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aaa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hayden is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Aaa is aware though and is defending well.

Hayden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Aaa wants to stand but Hayden is controlling his posture from full guard.

Aaa wants to control from the top but Hayden keeps moving.
Aaa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hayden looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Aaa passes into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Aaa decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Columbus Hayden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Aaa.
An inside leg kick lands from Aaa.
Aaa scores with a three punch combo!
Aaa throws a big shot that misses.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Aaa misses with a head kick.
An attempted straight right counter from Hayden misses the target.

Aaa decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Hayden pushes Aaa off and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aaa Aaa dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Hayden has managed to clinch.
Hayden managing to block the knees to the body from Aaa.
Hayden is trying to pull guard but Aaa turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Aaa is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Aaa comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Aaa has Hayden pushed against the cage.

Aaa lands a takedown into guard.

Hayden kicks Aaa off and gets to his feet.
Hayden has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aaa's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hayden connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Aaa scrambles back to his feet.
Aaa scores with a nice body kick.
Hayden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aaa paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Aaa follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Aaa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Aaa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hayden has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Aaa is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Hayden keeping moving, preventing Aaa from controlling successfully.
Aaa connects with a couple of short punches.
Aaa forces his way into half guard.
Hayden on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Hayden tries to roll over but Aaa keeps him under control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Hayden manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hayden can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Aaa controls the pace.

Hayden is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Aaa is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hayden has momentary wrist control but Aaa slips an elbow through the middle.
Aaa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hayden's guard.

Hayden has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Aaa is on him like a limpet, forcing Hayden back against the cage.

Hayden drags the fight down to the ground.
Aaa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Aaa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hayden swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hayden looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Columbus Hayden overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Aaa sitting in guard here, content to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Aaa wants to stand and escape but instead Hayden has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.


Aaa had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hayden defends it easily.
Aaa is looking to stand up but Hayden isn't so interested in that idea.
Hayden with a flurry of punches that miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Columbus Hayden dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Aaa.
Hayden takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
As Aaa looks to move away, Hayden throws a big counter combo but Aaa just gets out of the way.
Aaa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hayden scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hayden throws an overhand right that lands on Aaa's shoulder, as Aaa tries to avoid the shot.
Aaa slips under a jab.
Aaa throws a head kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aaa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Aaa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Aaa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Hayden explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Aaa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Aaa closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hayden counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Aaa shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Aaa showed some decent athleticism there.

Hayden manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Aaa keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hayden tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Aaa turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Hayden throws Aaa to one side and escapes!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Aaa wants to clinch up but Hayden keeps it at a distance.
Hayden throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hayden is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
A head kick by Aaa misses
letting Hayden counter with a right hand.
Hayden scores with a hook to the body. Aaa takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Aaa fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hayden to the ground. Aaa is now in Hayden's guard.

Hayden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Aaa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Aaa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hayden is trying to keep Aaa in close.

Aaa decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Aaa misses with a head kick.

Aaa moves into range and clinches up with Hayden.
Hayden is looking for a takedown.
Aaa is pressed up against the cage. Hayden has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Aaa down to the mat. Aaa avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Columbus Hayden. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Aaa scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Aaa postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hayden to stand up.
Aaa lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Aaa dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Aaa gets a takedown into half guard.

Hayden pushes Aaa off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aaa takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

And that's the end of the fight!
Columbus Hayden showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Hayden has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
