Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Herrera drives through with a takedown into guard. Chaplin is looking to stand up but Herrera isn't so interested in that idea. Chaplin keeping moving, preventing Herrera from controlling successfully. Herrera advances to half guard. Herrera wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chaplin keeps working. Herrera missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Chaplin is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Herrera pulls his head out easily. Herrera is trying to control. Chaplin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Chaplin shoots in and bounces Herrera off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Chaplin slips nicely into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaplin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Herrera keeps working. Chaplin is looking for a kimura but Herrera is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Chaplin to get the leverage. Chaplin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Herrera does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Herrera wants to control but Chaplin is keeping busy.

Herrera wants to improve his position but Chaplin is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Herrera is looking to get back to full guard here but Chaplin has managed to pass to side control instead. Herrera tries to get back to half guard but can't. Chaplin stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Herrera looks gassed! Chaplin throws a big shot that misses. Chaplin with a lazy takedown attempt and Herrera counters with a nice double leg into guard. Herrera is looking to work some ground and pound but Chaplin has wrist control. Herrera must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Chaplin wants to sweep here but Herrera controlling him for the moment. Chaplin is looking to stand up but Herrera isn't so interested in that idea. Chaplin has his foot on Herrera's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Herrera works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chaplin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chaplin is trying to control the position but Herrera postures up. Herrera working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Herrera controlling from the top position. Chaplin wants to sweep but no luck. Chaplin has an active guard here but Herrera has managed to pass into half guard.
Herrera wants to work for an arm triangle but Chaplin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Chaplin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Herrera is working away from the top position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Herrera seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chaplin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Chaplin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chaplin. Chaplin is trying to control the position but Herrera postures up. Herrera stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chaplin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Herrera avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Chaplin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chaplin is standing up, even though he is in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Chaplin dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chaplin fails to land the takedown. Chaplin looks for a takedown but Herrera sprawls well. Herrera feints and as Chaplin raises his hands in defense, Herrera changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Chaplin looking for a triangle here. Herrera is fighting it but it looks tight! Chaplin pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Herrera is tapping out - this one is all over!
