The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murikka throws out a powerful jab.
Ilotalo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Murikka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Murikka throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Murikka lands a brutal head kick. Ilotalo looks out on his feet and Murikka throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
