Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kristofer Miles (ranked 24391 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca Andonatelli (ranked 7778 p4p, 0 weight class). Kristofer Miles is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kristofer Miles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luca Andonatelli!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andonatelli fails with the takedown
enabling Miles to counter with a crisp jab.
Andonatelli tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Andonatelli misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Andonatelli takes a swing at Miles's ribcage but misses.
Andonatelli is looking to clinch.
It looked like Miles wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Andonatelli clinches up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Andonatelli wants to get back to striking at distance but Miles won't allow it.

Miles breaks from the clinch.

Andonatelli pushes Miles up against the cage in a clinch.
Andonatelli prevents the takedown attempt.

Andonatelli throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Miles blocks it with crossed arms.

Miles wants the takedown. Andonatelli is fighting it off but Miles persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Andonatelli's guard against the cage.
Miles throws a big right hand that misses.
Miles won't allow Andonatelli to get back to his feet.
Miles postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andonatelli wants to stand but Miles is controlling the position.
Miles throwing strikes from guard but Andonatelli blocks nicely.

Miles throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Andonatelli works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Miles chips away with some ground and pound.

Andonatelli throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Miles escapes and throws Andonatelli's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Miles tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Miles has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Miles wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Andonatelli, who protects the arm well.
Miles throws an elbow but Andonatelli slips to the side and avoids it well.

Miles is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Andonatelli knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Andonatelli regains half guard.
Andonatelli slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Andonatelli not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Miles throwing strikes from guard but Andonatelli blocks nicely.
Andonatelli is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Miles will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That was a close round but I would say that Kristofer Miles will probably get the nod.

Miles shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Andonatelli is trying to defend but Miles finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Miles slips a nice elbow through Andonatelli's hands, connecting with Andonatelli's forehead.
Miles is thwarting Andonatelli's attempts to control the position.
Andonatelli is looking for a sweep. Miles is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Miles is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Andonatelli is just riding it out for now. Miles eventually gives up the hold.
Andonatelli manages to get to full guard.
Miles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Miles has gone for a leg lock! Andonatelli slips out almost immediately though and dives into Miles's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Miles looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Andonatelli passes into half guard.

Andonatelli seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Kristofer Miles overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Andonatelli wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miles keeps working.

Andonatelli tries to pass to full mount but Miles defends it.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Andonatelli decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Andonatelli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miles tries to avoid it but Andonatelli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miles to the ground. Miles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Andonatelli throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Andonatelli misses with a looping right.

and Miles counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Miles.
Andonatelli is breathing heavily.
Miles lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Andonatelli backwards.

Andonatelli decides to pull guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Miles working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Andonatelli trying to keep a closed guard but Miles is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Luca Andonatelli will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Miles holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Andonatelli wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Miles jumps guard and drags Andonatelli to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Andonatelli controls from within his opponent's guard.
Miles will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Andonatelli fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Miles avoids it really well and circles away.
Andonatelli shoots for a double leg takedown but Miles sprawls well. He's pushed Andonatelli's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Miles tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Andonatelli manages to circle out of the way.
Andonatelli shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Andonatelli shoots in and bounces Miles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Kristofer Miles showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Miles has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
