Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benitez forces Soze back against the cage and clinches.
Benitez jumps guard but Soze turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Benitez lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Soze backwards.

Soze struggles to land a body shot inside as Benitez controls his hands.
Benitez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Soze is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Soze lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Benitez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Soze smiles and moves away.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Benitez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Soze - the referee stops the clock and Benitez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Soze. Benitez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Well Soze has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
