Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Van Carey (ranked 24799 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bork Laser (ranked 5180 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Van Carey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bork Laser! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laser has closed the distance and engaged Carey in a clinch.
A short body shot lands from Laser as the two fighters clinch.
Carey tries to circle away but Laser has him pinned against the cage. Laser has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Carey regains guard immediately. Laser stands up and waves to Carey to follow him. No luck with that takedown attempt from Carey. A countering left hand to the body from Laser misses. Carey gets tackled into the cage by Laser. Laser maintains the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Laser will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Carey up against the cage. A right hook to the body lands for Carey.

That's one minute gone in the round. Laser wants the takedown. Carey is fighting it off but Laser persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Carey's guard against the cage. Laser looking to sit in guard and control but Carey gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Carey stops Laser from standing up. Laser looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carey is one step ahead there. Laser wants to improve his position but instead Carey has moved into half guard.
Laser looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Carey is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Laser trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Carey manages to pass to mount!
Carey avoids the attempt from Laser to control. Laser gets back to half guard. Carey is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Laser wants to get back to his feet.
Carey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Laser looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Laser makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Laser.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Laser looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carey is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Laser has his foot on Carey's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carey works his way back into a safe position though. Laser wants to improve his position but instead Carey has moved into half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Carey seems to be looking for submissions.
Laser on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bork Laser dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Carey misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Laser wants to counter with a clinch but Carey pushes him away. No joy there for Laser, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Laser shoots in and bounces Carey off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Carey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Laser wants to control from the top but Carey keeps moving. Laser is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Laser trying to control but Carey is working from the bottom. Bork Laser has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Carey holds on and takes a little breather. Carey utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Laser wants to control from the top but Carey keeps moving. Laser loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Laser misses with a wild combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Laser gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Laser gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Laser is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Carey still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Carey has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Laser wants to control but Carey postures up. Laser keeping his opponent close. Laser struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Laser manages to work his way to half guard, despite Carey's best efforts. Laser manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Carey keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Laser has picked Carey up - he's going for a ride! Laser dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Laser is breathing heavily. Laser tries to pass to full mount but Carey defends it. Laser is looking for a kimura but Carey is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Laser to get the leverage. Laser is pressing down on Carey's thigh, looking to free his foot. Carey is holding on for now. Carey is controlling Laser's trapped leg to prevent Laser from advancing to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Laser tries to stand but can't do so whilst Carey controls his leg. Carey trying to hold on to Laser's head to control him but Laser postures up.
Laser is looking to take a break and control but Carey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Laser goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Carey gets caught flat footed, as Laser shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Laser throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bork Laser showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Carey gets a double leg takedown into Laser's guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Laser manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Carey tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Laser smiles and moves away.
Laser closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Laser frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Laser goes for an armbar but Carey turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Carey. Laser is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Carey is controlling him. Laser has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Laser takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Laser is looking for a triangle but Carey pushes his legs off easily.

Laser looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Laser had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Carey defends it easily. Laser throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Laser looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Carey passes into half guard.
Carey is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Laser has managed to free his arm - good work. Carey is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Laser wants to get back to his feet.
Laser is trying to get back to full guard. Carey landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Laser throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Carey winds up and cracks Laser with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Carey seems to be looking for submissions.
Laser has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Carey is on him like a limpet, forcing Laser back against the cage. Carey gets control of Laser's arms and successfully pulls guard. Carey will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Laser trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Laser tries to stand but Carey is controlling from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Laser is in close to Carey's body, working some short punches and elbows.
And that's the end of the fight! Bork Laser comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Laser has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
