Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rage Parade (ranked 4938 p4p, 552 weight class) and Jako Day (ranked 4581 p4p, 530 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Parade might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I KILL Cause I'm Hungry. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jako Day!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parade has closed the distance and engaged Day in a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Parade creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.


It looks like Jako Day has been cut.
Parade lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Parade blocking some punches.
Parade misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Parade effectively controlling the action here.
A frustrated look appears on Day's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Day doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Parade escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Parade scores with a jab to the head.

Parade clinches up against the cage.
Parade keeps control of Day as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Parade lands with a right to the head.
Day wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Day breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Day counters with a series of strikes. Parade will be more careful next time no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parade dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Day. That did some damage!

Parade lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Parade pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Day slips under a jab.
Day with the counter takedown but Parade avoids it easily.

Danga de danga de dang - Day scores with a four punch combination!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Day on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A solid leg kick lands there for Parade.
Parade throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


That has opened up Jako Day's cut even more.

Day is rocked!
Parade dances in with a quick combination. Day is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Parade snaps Day's head back. Day stumbles backwards against the cage. Parade steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Day's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Day just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rage Parade!
After the fight, Rage Parade was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
