Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Da Wrestler Killa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Cohen! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
As Cohen looks to move away, Killa throws a big counter combo but Cohen just gets out of the way. Killa connects with a looping right hand.
Cohen clinches. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Cohen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Killa breaks the clinch.
Killa throws a hook to the side of Cohen's head but Cohen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cohen tries to close the distance and clinch but Killa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cohen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Killa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Killa scores with the left hand. Cohen knows he should have avoided that one. Sloppy strikes from Cohen. Those never looked like landing. Killa throws a quick counter kick to the body but Cohen avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killa throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Daniel Cohen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cohen tries to clinch but Killa moves out of range. Killa throws a good cross that connects.
Killa thows a body kick. Cohen tries to catch it but that hurt him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cohen tries to clinch but Killa is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cohen is looking to clinch. Cohen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Killa swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cohen shoots in for a takedown but Killa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Killa looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. A chopping leg kick lands by Killa. Cohen fails with a takedown attempt. Cohen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Killa jumps guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cohen is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Cohen wanted to stand there but Killa had control of the position. Cohen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Cohen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Killa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Killa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cohen is controlling him. Killa has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Cohen off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Killa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As Killa backs off Cohen throws a huge counter combo but Killa manages to avoid it all.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cohen tries to clinch but Killa is having none of it. Killa misses with a head kick.
Cohen blocks a leg kick. Cohen clinches up against the cage. Cohen gets control of Killa's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cohen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Killa stands up from guard. Let's bang! Killa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cohen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Da Wrestler Killa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cohen darts in trying to clinch and Killa counters with a good low kick that Cohen was not able to check. Cohen tries to close the distance and clinch but Killa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cohen avoids the head kick by Killa.
Killa blocks a leg kick. Cohen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Killa. Horrible takedown attempt by Cohen or perhaps it was just good defense by Killa, which made it look bad. Killa went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Da Wrestler Killa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Cohen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Cohen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Killa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Killa is looking to counter with head kicks. Cohen clinches with his opponent.
Cohen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Killa looking for a takedown. Cohen tries to stall but Killa uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

It looks like Da Wrestler Killa has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Killa blocks a body shot from Cohen. Cohen has Killa pressed against the cage, preventing Killa from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Cohen is pushing Killa up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Da Wrestler Killa dominated that round. The cut man is working on Da Wrestler Killa's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
No joy there for Killa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cohen moves in looking to clinch but Killa pushes him off. Cohen darts in looking for a takedown but Killa gets double underhooks and turns Cohen into the cage. Killa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cohen can do to turn this around? Cohen fails in his attempt to clinch. Killa is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Killa scores with a jab to the jaw. Cohen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Killa throws a body kick that misses. Cohen tries to clinch up but Killa circles away and keeps his distance. Killa moves out of range of the body kick from Cohen.
Cohen tries for a takedown but Killa circles away easily and Cohen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Da Wrestler Killa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Cohen misses with a body kick. Cohen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Killa makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Killa drops Cohen with a straight right hand, right on the button! Killa follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
