Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Preston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Liddell! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Preston's hands. Liddell throws a jab when Preston was well out of range. Preston keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Liddell. Preston slips under a jab. Preston wants to clinch. Preston keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Liddell. Liddell looks to throw the jab but Preston is out of range. Liddell swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Liddell lands a nice shot that snaps Preston's head back.
Liddell looks gassed! Liddell throws a jab when Preston was well out of range. Liddell throws a shot from downtown. Preston moves away and avoids it. Preston looks to land a combination but Liddell avoids it well. Liddell misses the jab. Liddell throws the left hand but Preston avoids the punch easily. Preston moves out of range of the strikes. Liddell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Preston displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Liddell throws out the jab. Preston shoots in and drives through. Liddell sprawls well. Preston looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Preston throwing shots but Liddell is blocking nicely. Liddell wants to get back to his feet. Preston works his way into full mount! Poor strikes thrown by Preston there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Liddell can do anything to dispel that myth. Preston quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Preston but it's paid off an Liddell is forced to tap! Nice work by Preston.
