Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trainius Reckus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Westwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Westwood has chosen Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Trainius Reckus! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chuck Westwood! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reckus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Westwood pinned against the cage. Westwood gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Reckus drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Reckus is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Reckus postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Reckus won't allow Westwood to sweep him here. Reckus passes Westwood's left leg - he's now in half guard. Westwood tries to roll over but Reckus keeps him under control. Westwood is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Reckus thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Westwood flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are battling for position here. Westwood manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Reckus drops back looking for a leg! Westwood is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Westwood manages to kick Reckus off! Reckus jumps back into Westwood's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Westwood looking for a sweep. Not yet Westwood, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Westwood throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Reckus moves out of range of the strikes. Westwood tries to bum rush Reckus with a series of wild strikes but Reckus uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Reckus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Westwood tries to avoid it but Reckus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Westwood to the ground. Westwood escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Westwood thuds his right hand into Reckus's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Reckus misses with a takedown attempt - Westwood sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trainius Reckus. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reckus looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Westwood! Reckus avoids the attempt from Westwood to control. Westwood is trying to escape the mount.
Westwood throwing hammer fists to the chest of Reckus. What's that going to do exactly? Westwood is in all sorts of trouble here.
Reckus looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Reckus is going olschool here, as he tries to force Westwood to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Westwood shrugs it off. Reckus is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reckus lands a nice shot to the head. Westwood is trying desperately to improve position. Westwood is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Westwood manages to regain half guard. Good work. Reckus seems to be looking for submissions.

Westwood moves into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Westwood tries to land a sweep but no joy. Westwood looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Westwood looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Reckusis looking to pass into half guard but Westwood pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Westwood is in guard. Westwood wants to stand but Reckus is controlling his posture from full guard. Westwood passes Reckus's left leg - he's now in half guard. Westwood trying to mount his opponent but Reckus defends it. Westwood is trying to control. Reckus wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Westwood is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Reckus punching from the bottom.

The fighters are battling for position here. Reckus manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Westwood must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Westwood wants to pass the guard but Reckus is keeping the position. Reckus looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Westwood is defending well. Reckus quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Westwood has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Reckus celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
