Matazz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gariniho swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Gariniho misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gariniho uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Matazz.
Gariniho has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Matazz.

Gariniho misses with an uppercut. Matazz saw that one coming.
Matazz was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Gariniho and Matazz are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Gariniho throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Matazz into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Gariniho knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Neyman Gariniho!
A less than humble Neyman Gariniho misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
