Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harley Nolan (ranked 24677 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Brown (ranked 6156 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Harley Nolan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Brown! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Brown trying to pass the guard but Nolan defending well. Nolan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Brown scores with a couple of nice shots. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brown connects with a nice short shot to Nolan's temple. Brown stalling. Nolan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Brown trying to control the pace. Brown passes to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Brown landing a few strikes. Brown passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Nolan! Brown goes for an armbar but Nolan turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Nolan. Brown has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nolan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Brown bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nolan's guard.
Nolan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Brown controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Brown sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nolan's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Brown controlling the action here. Brown's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brown tries to stand but can't do so whilst Nolan controls his leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Brown dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Brown moves into the clinch successfully.
Brown tries to pull guard but Nolan holds him up against the cage and eventually Brown drops back down to his feet.
Brown drops down looking for an ankle pick but Nolan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Brown with a lazy takedown attempt and Nolan counters with a nice body shot. Harley Nolan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Brown. A looping hook to the body misses from Nolan. Brown does a little dance to reset his feet. Nolan looks for a takedown but Brown sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A combination from Brown does no damage. Brown has his takedown stuffed and Nolan counters with a nice body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nolan misses with a head kick.
Brown rushes Nolan and presses him up against the cage. Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brown drives through with a takedown into guard. Brown showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Brown passes easily into side control. Nice work. Brown staying calm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown lands a nice forearm strike. Brown is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Brown tries for a kimura but Nolan is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown happy to just control the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Nolan is trying to work for a sweep but Brown has mounted him! Nolan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nolan is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Brown has taken his back! Brown is looking to finish with some ground and pound! What can Nolan do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Brown is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Brown gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Brown gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Brown apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brown paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
A head kick misses from Nolan.
It looks like Harley Nolan has been cut. Nolan lands with a slapping head kick. Nolan throws a body shot but no joy. Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
Brown takes a swing at Nolan's ribcage but misses. Brown shoots in and bounces Nolan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Brown is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Brown passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown controlling the position. Brown is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Nolan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Brown gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Nolan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Brown lets go of the hold and Nolan can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). James Brown!
