The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Baird manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Wolfe gets caught napping as Baird dives in and scores a takedown. Wolfe manages to retain guard.

Wolfe wants to get back to his feet but Baird is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Baird could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wolfe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Wolfe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baird keeps working.

Baird makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Baird.

Wolfe is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Baird has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Wolfe is looking to defend but Baird has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Wolfe! Baird pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Wolfe taps out and this one is all over!
