Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordan Brink!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jani Haimakainen!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brink fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Haimakainen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brink is fending him off so far but Haimakainen persists. Nope, Brink circles away and we're back to standing.

Brink decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Brink performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Brink thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Brink controlling the action here.

Haimakainen looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brink stops Haimakainen from getting back to his feet.
Brink not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Brink lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Brink is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Brink's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Brink is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Haimakainen defends it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Brink is keen to just control but Haimakainen is a slippery customer.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jordan Brink just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Brink shoots in looking for a takedown. Haimakainen tries to sprawl out of it but Brink keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Haimakainen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A jab from Haimakainen misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jordan Brink dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Haimakainen throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Brink crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jani Haimakainen!
