Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Bell (ranked 2543 p4p, 77 weight class) and Hamish McTavish (ranked 1811 p4p, 55 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Greg Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hamish McTavish! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell blocks a leg kick. Bell tries a head kick but it misses.
Bell stuns McTavish with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bell gets a double leg takedown into McTavish's guard. McTavish isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bell stacks McTavish on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bell! McTavish is looking to reverse the position. Bell working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell controlling the position. Bell landing strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. McTavish sneaks back into half guard. Bell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bell is pressing down on McTavish's thigh, looking to free his foot. McTavish is holding on for now. Bell throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. McTavish looking for submissions off his back. Bell seems to be looking for submissions.
McTavish is staying active underneath Bell, who seems content to just control the action from this position. McTavish felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. McTavish looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bell is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bell trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. McTavish controlling Bell's posture.

McTavish can't keep hold of the triangle and Bell manages to pass to side control! Bell working away. McTavish is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bell is looking to take a break and control but McTavish is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bell controls the position from side control. McTavish is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
It looks like Hamish McTavish has been cut. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McTavish can do anything to dispel that myth. McTavish tries to bench press Bell off him but Bell keeps the position.

McTavish has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bell is working away from the top position though. Bell working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on McTavish's thigh. Bell throws a lazy head kick and McTavish counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bell! McTavish working away. McTavish landing strikes. Greg Bell overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bell can't do much from the bottom here. Bell tries to buck McTavish off but McTavish is having none of it. McTavish trying to control the position but Bell is working away. You can see the frustration on Bell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McTavish working the ground and pound. McTavish avoids the strikes from the bottom by Bell. We've been hearing good reports from Bell's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

McTavish throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Bell works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. McTavish lands strikes from half guard. McTavish throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McTavish throws a strike but Bell avoids it easily and moves to full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McTavish accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. McTavish content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Bell keeping moving, preventing McTavish from controlling successfully. Bell is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McTavish is aware though and is defending well. Bell is looking for a triangle but McTavish pushes his legs off easily.
McTavish tries to free his leg and advance position but Bell is retaining full guard. Bell throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
McTavish postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Bell avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McTavish lands a couple of decent looking shots. Bell is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bell looking to hit a scissor sweep but McTavish is one step ahead there. McTavish drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bell looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bell looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bell! McTavish looking for a sweep but Bell has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Bell sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Bell with shots to the head and body - McTavish looks very uncomfortable down there. Bell takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. McTavish sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bell passes to side control. Bell cracks McTavish with an elbow. That is naaassty. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hamish McTavish showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Hamish McTavish's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Bell fails in his attempt to clinch. Bell throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McTavish tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bell is in McTavish's guard. Bell passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bell is looking to take a break and control but McTavish is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McTavish tries to bench press Bell off him but Bell keeps the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. McTavish tries to buck Bell off but Bell is having none of it. Bell cracks McTavish with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Bell immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! McTavish is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Bell!
