Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edzha Gren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kale Ravenal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gren comes to the cage accompanied by fight like this. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edzha Gren! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kale Ravenal! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ravenal lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Gren looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ravenal! Ravenal sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Ravenal is looking to escape. Ravenal pushes Gren off and gets back to his feet. Ravenal scores with a sloppy right hand. Gren should have avoided that one. Edzha Gren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ravenal throws a right hand that Gren ducks under and follows up with a left that Gren also avoids with ease. Gren shoots in looking for a takedown. Ravenal tries to sprawl out of it but Gren keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ravenal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gren throws a head kick that misses. A big right from Ravenal misses. Gren shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ravenal's guard. Ravenal is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gren wants to get up but he can't break Ravenal's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ravenal can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gren prevents Ravenal from getting back to his feet. Ravenal looking for a sweep. Not yet Ravenal, not yet. Gren pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ravenal is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ravenal wants to stand and escape but Gren is having none of it. Ravenal is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Gren misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gren tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gren ducks under a wild hook from Ravenal. No luck for Gren with that takedown attempt. Gren is breathing heavily. Jab, jab by Ravenal - just one landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gren takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A left lands for Ravenal. Gren takes a shot right to the bread basket. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ravenal connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gren momentarily.
Ravenal scores with a jab to the body. Ravenal lands a big uppercut and Gren crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gren looks OK. Ravenal waves Gren back to his feet!
Gren is rocked!
It looks like Edzha Gren has been cut. Ravenal throws a pinpoint strike between Gren's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Gren crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Ravenal scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kale Ravenal!
