Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dante Esposito (ranked 1298 p4p, 135 weight class) and Ksawery Koltun (ranked 3799 p4p, 340 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

17 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Ksawery Koltun! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Esposito tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Koltun was well out of range. Poor timing from Esposito . Koltun scores with a shot to the body.

That's better than Koltun was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Esposito throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Koltun cracks Esposito with an open hand slap. Esposito connects with a leg kick. Koltun looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Esposito rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Koltun moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Koltun with the counter takedown but Esposito avoids it easily. Koltun gets the takedown into side control. Esposito sneaks out the side door and pushes Koltun away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Esposito wants to slow Koltun down by chopping away at his legs. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Esposito throws a sloppy head kick and Koltun moves out of range easily. Koltun throws an overhand right that lands on Esposito 's shoulder, as Esposito tries to avoid the shot. Koltun is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Esposito . And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Esposito tries to get back to half guard but can't. Koltun wants to lay and pray for a moment but Esposito keeps working. Koltun scores with a couple of short elbows. Koltun trying to control the position but Esposito is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koltun goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Esposito has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Koltun but great work by Esposito . A lull in the action here. Koltun is trying to improve his position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Koltun manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Esposito is refusing to be controlled, as Koltun sits in half guard. Koltun thows a huge punch but Esposito dodges it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Koltun not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Koltun wants to free his trapped foot but Esposito is holding on for dear life with his legs. Esposito is staying active underneath Koltun, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Koltun winds up and cracks Esposito with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Koltun tries to pass to full mount but Esposito defends it. Koltun has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Esposito keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koltun is stalling here. Esposito is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Koltun seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Esposito has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Koltun is trying to get back to half guard. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dante Esposito . I think Esposito has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
