Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Arandaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Casey Lawson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arandaa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lawson pinned against the cage. Lawson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Arandaa could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lawson looks for a takedown but Arandaa sprawls well.
Lawson connects with a solid leg kick.
Lawson keeps the fight on the outside.
Lawson tries to clinch up.
Arandaa misses with a series of wild punches.

and Lawson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Lawson is trying to stand up here but Arandaa is controlling him well.
Arandaa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lawson keeps working.

Arandaa seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Arandaa is tying to control. Lawson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

so Arandaa counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Lawson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Arandaa puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lawson wants to control but Arandaa is keeping busy.

Arandaa is pressing down on Lawson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lawson is holding on for now.
Lawson is trying to maintain the position but Arandaa is very close to passing his half guard.
Arandaa uses his free foot to push down on Lawson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lawson.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Arandaa wants to finish this one by submission but Lawson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Arandaa.

The referee warns Lawson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Lawson is looking to improve his position but Arandaa isn't that keen on the idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Arandaa has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Lawson ducks into an uppercut from Arandaa and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
