Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conrad Hauser (ranked 630 p4p, 74 weight class) and Simon Vale (ranked 1351 p4p, 153 weight class). Vale has chosen Motorhead-Iron Fist as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conrad Hauser! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simon Vale! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick from Hauser misses and Vale counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Vale trying to control the position from guard on top but Hauser is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Vale wants to pass the guard but Hauser is keeping the position. Vale is still trying to improve position. Hauser keeping moving, preventing Vale from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vale avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Vale must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Vale passes into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hauser wants to control but Vale is keeping busy and won't allow it. Hauser is not content to let Vale control the position.

Vale missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hauser wants to improve his position but Vale is controlling well.
Hauser makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hauser. Hauser keeping moving, preventing Vale from controlling successfully. Vale in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Vale wants to control from the top but Hauser keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hauser seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Vale is looking to work some ground and pound but Hauser has wrist control. Hauser is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Vale lands a head shot. Vale uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hauser. A swing and a miss from Hauser. Vale shoots in and drives through. Hauser sprawls well. Hauser is looking to counter punch. Hauser throws a lazy right hand but Vale sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hauser gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Vale fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hauser throws a leg kick and Vale counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Vale feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Vale wants to control from the top but Hauser keeps moving. Vale might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hauser haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Hauser bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vale's guard. Vale is looking to stand up but Hauser isn't so interested in that idea. Hauser wanted to stand there but Vale had control of the position. Hauser stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vale swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hauser wants to get up but he can't break Vale's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vale has his feet on Hauser's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Hauser cracks a nice hook into Vale's ribs. Hauser stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hauser wants it to stay on the feet. Hauser scores with a hook to the body. Vale takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. This has been an exciting period of action! Hauser lands a really nice looking cross but Vale seems unphased.
It looks like Simon Vale has been cut. Hauser throws the left hand but Vale avoids the punch easily. Vale avoids the body shot from Hauser.
Nice shot lands for Hauser. Conrad Hauser is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sloppy strikes from Hauser. Those never looked like landing. A shot to the body from Hauser misses and Vale counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hauser punishes Vale's body with a nice straight punch. Vale feints and as Hauser raises his hands in defense, Vale changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hauser wants to sweep here but Vale controlling him for the moment. Hauser keeping moving, preventing Vale from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Simon Vale will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Back to the action!
Hauser thows a leg kick but Vale checks it and Vale counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hauser thinking. Hauser fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Nice cross by Vale. Vale punishes Hauser's body with a nice straight punch. Vale scores with a kick to the body.
Vale dives in and grabs Hauser's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hauser pushes down on Vale's head and hops out. Vale wants to clinch up but Hauser keeps it at a distance. Vale fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hauser on the side of the head. Hauser throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A little jabbing left from Vale on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Vale shoots in and drives through. Hauser sprawls well. Vale drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hauser is holding Vale down, trying to stall. Vale works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hauser taking a bit of punishment here - Vale scoring with strikes. Vale cracks Hauser with an elbow. That is naaassty. Vale is looking to take a break and control but Hauser is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Hauser's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hauser regains half guard. Hauser keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hauser regains full guard. Nicely done. Hauser wants to sweep but no luck. Vale with a nice head shot there. Vale postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vale slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Hauser taking a bit of punishment here - Vale scoring with strikes. Vale scores with a couple of short elbows. Hauser tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hauser manages to work his way to half guard, despite Vale's best efforts. Vale is looking to take a break and control but Hauser is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Vale content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Hauser slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vale trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hauser controlling Vale's posture. Hauser keeping moving, preventing Vale from controlling successfully. Hauser looking for subs off his back but Vale has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Vale lands a nice short elbow. Vale wants to free his trapped foot but Hauser is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hauser looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vale connects with a nice short shot to Hauser's temple. Hauser gets full guard. Vale trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Vale throwing strikes from guard but Hauser blocks nicely. Vale postures up in Hauser's guard and throws a big left but Hauser blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simon Vale showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Hauser takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hauser wants to land a leg kick but Vale is out of range. Vale connects with a right hand. Hauser shakes it off. Hauser scores with a one two! Vale had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Vale tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hauser was well out of range. Poor timing from Vale. Hauser tries to score with a low kick but Vale moves his leg out of the way. Vale changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hauser tries to avoid it but Vale manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hauser to the ground. Hauser escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hauser swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vale lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Hauser throws an overhand right that lands on Vale's shoulder, as Vale tries to avoid the shot. Vale ducks under a wild hook from Hauser. Hauser is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Vale fails with a takedown attempt. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hauser.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hauser fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vale on the side of the head. Conrad Hauser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vale takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hauser misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Vale counter with a right hand. Vale goes for a double leg but Hauser avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hauser continues to drive forward. Conrad Hauser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simon Vale. Hauser just misses with a punch to the body.

Vale misses with a looping left. Hauser lands with a right hand. Vale takes a swing at Hauser's ribcage but misses. Nice jab there from Hauser.
Vale is rocked! Vale ducks into an uppercut from Hauser and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
