The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts drives through and clinches with Hot Rod against the cage.

Hot Rod doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Roberts wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hot Rod has him pressed against the cage.
Roberts is trying to maintain a safe position but Hot Rod gets an underhook and turns Roberts into the cage.
Hot Rod lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hot Rod drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hot Rod lands a hook that snaps the head of Roberts backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roberts tries to circle away but Hot Rod has him pinned against the cage.
Roberts wants to break the clinch but can't.
Roberts wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hot Rod has him pressed against the cage.
Roberts looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Dan Roberts is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hot Rod feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Robertss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Hot Rod rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Roberts moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hot Rod punishes Roberts's body with a nice straight punch.
Roberts throws a head kick but Hot Rod moves out of range.
Hot Rod moves into range and clinches up with Roberts.
Hot Rod lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Hot Rod lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Roberts is rocked!
Hot Rod ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hot Rod no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Roberts is still in real trouble! Can Hot Rod finish him?
Roberts trying to control the position from guard on top but Hot Rod is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hot Rod wants to stand but Roberts is controlling the position.
Roberts seems to have recovered his senses.
Roberts postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Roberts slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Hot Rod knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roberts on the ground.
Hot Rod is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Roberts has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Hot Rod bucks up and tries to throw Roberts off but instead Roberts has got his back!
Roberts misses with punches from the back.

Hot Rod trying to control but not successfully.
Roberts trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Hot Rod is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Hot Rod is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Roberts is persistently looking for the submission but Hot Rod is defending it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Colin Hot Rod dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hot Rod throws a looping overhand right but Roberts ducks down to avoid it.
Roberts misses with a double jab.
As Roberts looks to move away, Hot Rod throws a big counter combo but Roberts just gets out of the way.
Roberts misses with a few strikes there.
Hot Rod has closed the distance and engaged Roberts in a clinch.
Hot Rod digs a right hand into Roberts's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Roberts's gas tank.
Hot Rod lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hot Rod is trying to pull guard but Roberts turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Hot Rod struggles to land a body shot inside as Roberts controls his hands.

Roberts's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A punch lands to the side of Roberts 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Hot Rod counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Roberts is breathing heavily.
Hot Rod drops Roberts with a naaaaasty hook - Roberts is in real trouble here! Hot Rod dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
