Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gail Faulkner (ranked 6367 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaa Aaa (ranked 6672 p4p, 0 weight class). Aaa Aaa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gail Faulkner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaa Aaa!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aaa misses with a kick to the body.
Faulkner bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Aaa's head backwards.
Aaa Aaa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Faulkner forces Aaa back against the cage and clinches.
Aaa missing with knees to the body.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Aaa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Aaa lands a front kick.
Aaa fails with an attempt to clinch.
Aaa circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Faulkner tries for a takedown but Aaa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Aaa is looking for the big counter here.
Faulkner blocks a head kick by Aaa.
Aaa darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Faulkner has one foot on Aaa's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Aaa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Faulkner forces Aaa back against the cage and clinches.

Aaa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Faulkner lands with a hook. Aaa tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Aaa looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Faulkner!
Faulkner explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Aaa darts in trying to clinch
and Faulkner counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Faulkner tries to sprawl but Aaa drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Faulkner manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Aaa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Faulkner.
A combination from Faulkner does no damage.
Aaa appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Faulkner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Aaa wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Faulkner manages to pass to side control.
Aaa tries to roll over but Faulkner keeps him under control.

Aaa wants to get back to full guard but Faulkner has passed into side control.
Faulkner decides to stand back up.
Aaa throws a head kick that misses.
Faulkner appears to be looking for a big counter.
Faulkner throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Aaa was covering up waiting for the punch and Faulkner finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Aaa is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Faulkner dives into side control.

Aaa is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Faulkner decides to stand back up.
Aaa looks to score with a jab to the body but Faulkner is just out of range.
Aaa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Faulkner to the mat! Faulkner manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Faulkner wants to get back to his feet but Aaa is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Faulkner is trying to keep Aaa in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Faulkner throws a half hearted mid kick.
Aaa shoots in and gets a takedown into Faulkner's guard.
Aaa postures up.
Faulkner is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Faulkner lands a right hand that snaps the head of Aaa backwards.
Aaa jumps into guard, dragging Faulkner to the mat.
Faulkner makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Aaa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Faulkner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Aaa is breathing heavily.

Faulkner drops back, looking for a kneebar! Aaa looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Aaa looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Aaa!
Faulkner is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Aaa asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Aaa stands up and beckons Faulkner to his feet.
Aaa is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Faulkner's half guard.

Faulkner keeping hold of Aaa's head, controlling as best he can.
Faulkner wants to get back to his feet.

Faulkner pushes Aaa off looking to stand but Aaa dives back in and keeps control.

Aaa tries to pass the half guard into mount. Faulkner knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Aaa looks to land a right hand but Faulkner moved out of range.

Aaa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Faulkner counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Faulkner.
Faulkner pulls guard effortlessly.
Faulkner has a closed guard, preventing Aaa from standing up.

Gail Faulkner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Faulkner looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Aaa is defending well. Faulkner quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Aaa has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Faulkner celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
