Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benn clinches with his opponent.

Delgado trying to control the position from guard on top but Benn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Benn had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Delgado is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Benn Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Delgado's back instead. Benn has Delgado flattened out and is raining down punches. Benn looking for the RNC. Delgado manages to reverse the position and now he's in Benn's guard. Nice work there by Delgado.
That's one minute gone in the round. Benn looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Delgado passes into side control.
Delgado wants to control but Benn is keeping him busy. Delgado is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Delgado is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Benn is looking to reverse the position. Benn manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Delgado tries to roll over but Benn keeps him under control. Delgado is controlling Benn's trapped leg to prevent Benn from advancing to side control. Benn wants to stand up but Delgado is controlling the position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Benn sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Delgado defending well though. Delgado is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Benn pulls his head out easily. Delgado makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Delgado.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Benn advances position into side control! Benn trying to control the position but Delgado is working away. Benn looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Delgado striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Delgado regains half guard. Benn is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Delgado! Delgado gets back to half guard. Delgado is trying to get back to full guard. Delgado controlling the position well.

Delgado manages to escape and get back to his feet! Benn drives through with a takedown into guard. Benn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Delgado works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Benn passes Delgado's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Benn trying to mount his opponent but Delgado defends it. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Benn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Benn passes into half guard. Delgado blocking the ground and pound attempt from Benn. Benn is working for a submission of some sort.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Benn closes the distance and clinches. Benn has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Delgado is trying to keep an underhook but Benn manages to get the takedown into half guard. Benn wants to take a breather but Delgado is having none of it.

DJ Benn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Benn fails with a takedown attempt. Delgado will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Delgado has a takedown stuffed. Benn misses with a jab, cross combination.

Delgado shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Benn but Benn pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Delgado. That's going to take a lot out of him. Delgado looks to clinch and Benn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Benn postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Delgado is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Benn, into his guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Delgado stands up from guard. Let's bang!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Benn wants to pass the guard but Delgado is keeping the position. Benn is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Delgado looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Benn is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Benn decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Delgado, up you get! Delgado throws a series of punches but Benn moves out of range. Delgado fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delgado is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Benn throws a wild body kick that Delgado sees coming a mile off. Benn fails to land with a series of punches.
Benn tries to clinch but Delgado moves out of range. Delgado tests Benn's chin there with a solid looking shot. Benn doesn't manage to clinch there - Delgado circles away.
Benn moves into range and clinches up with Delgado. Delgado changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Benn fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Delgado closes the distance looking to clinch and Benn counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Delgado's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Benn has gone for a leg lock! Delgado slips out almost immediately though and dives into Benn's guard.

Benn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Benn manages to kick Delgado off! Delgado jumps back into Benn's guard. Benn looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Benn has Delgado pulled in close to control his posture. Delgado won't allow Benn to sweep him here. Delgado wants to control from the top but Benn keeps moving. Benn working for a triangle but Delgado defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Delgado avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Benn is on top in guard.
Benn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Benn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Benn is fighting to break Delgado's control of his arms but Delgado is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! DJ Benn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Benn winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
