Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Shaw doesn't manage to clinch there - Morris circles away.
Shaw misses with the combination.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Shaw has eaten all the pies!
Morris lands a right hook to the body.

Morris has Shaw up against the cage in a clinch.
Morris crunches a lovely knee into Shaw's ribcage.

Shaw breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shaw closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Shaw is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morris is just riding it out for now. Shaw eventually gives up the hold.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shaw has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Shaw cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Shaw is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Nick Morris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Morris scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Shaw doesn't seem bothered though.

Shaw darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Morris scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Shaw manages to mount him!
Morris tries to control Shaw's body but Shaw pushes him off. Morris squirms to his side and now Shaw has his back!

Shaw is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Morris taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Shaw.
