The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Shaw swats away the attempt to clinch by Griffin.
Griffin has closed the distance and engaged Shaw in a clinch.
Shaw is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Shaw stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Griffin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Griffin wants to clinch.
Shaw circles away from the clinch attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Shaw shoots in looking for a takedown. Griffin tries to sprawl out of it but Shaw keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Griffin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larry Shaw. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Griffin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shaw swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Shaw has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Griffin's face.
That has opened up Terry Griffin's cut even more.

Shaw postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Griffin looks a forlorn figure.
The cut above Terry Griffin's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Griffin looks gassed!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Shaw scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Terry Griffin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
