Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mo Frazier (ranked 2696 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Vardy (ranked 20365 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
30 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Mo Frazier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Vardy! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Frazier lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vardy doesn't seem phased though. A head kick misses from Frazier. Frazier looks for a takedown but Vardy sprawls well. Frazier dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Frazier dodges the punch combination from Vardy.
Vardy tries to bum rush Frazier with a series of wild strikes but Frazier uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Vardy throws a lazy right hand but Frazier sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frazier tries a head kick but it misses.
Frazier instigates a clinch. Frazier breaks from the clinch.
Vardy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frazier moves out of range as Vardy strikes. Vardy moves forwards but Frazier connects with a nice, crisp jab. Vardy throws a sloppy head kick and Frazier moves out of range easily. Frazier jabs Vardy right on the nose. Vardy blinks but takes it well. Frazier fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Vardy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Frazier closes the distance and pushes Vardy back into the cage. Frazier breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Vardy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Frazier punishes Vardy's body with a nice straight punch. Frazier wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Frazier paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. This has been an exciting period of action! Frazier closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frazier breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Frazier scores with a head kick. Vardy tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Frazier instigates a clinch. Vardy has had enough of the clinch but Frazier keeps him there for the moment. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Frazier throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Vardys head. Vardy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Vardy tries to circle away but Frazier has him pinned against the cage. Frazier breaks from the clinch.
Vardy tries a head kick but it misses.
Frazier throws a counter high kick but Vardy was just alert enough to avoid it. Mo Frazier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Frazier bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Frazier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A left lands for Frazier. Vardy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Frazier.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frazier feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Vardy's calf. Vardy scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Nice straight punches there by Frazier. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Frazier. Frazier blocks a low kick nicely. Frazier shoots in and bounces Vardy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Frazier lands a couple of digs. Vardy has momentary wrist control but Frazier slips an elbow through the middle. Frazier controls from within his opponent's guard. Frazier landing some decent shots from guard. Vardy looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Frazier passes into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Frazier decides to stand back up. Frazier steps back and let's Vardy get back to his feet. Frazier throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Frazier looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Frazier decides to return to a standing position. Vardy looks winded! Frazier misses with a double jab.
Frazier lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Vardy misses with a straight left. Frazier lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Frazier pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Vardy back to the cage. Frazier follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mo Frazier dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Vardy gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Frazier is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Vardy can do to turn this around? Vardy misses with a head kick.
Mo Frazier is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Good leg kick by Frazier there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Vardy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Frazier. Vardy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Frazier. Frazier circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Frazier clinches. Frazier is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Vardy can't fight it off and eventually Frazier manages to take the fight to the floor. Vardy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Vardy wants to get back to his feet but Frazier passes into half guard.
Frazier working the head and body with strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Well, if Frazier is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vardy can do anything to dispel that myth. Vardy wants to improve his position but Frazier is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frazier content to control rather than advance. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Frazier slips a nice elbow through Vardy's hands, connecting with Vardy's forehead. Frazier has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Frazier working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Frazier is controlling the pace.
Frazier's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Vardy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Frazier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Frazier is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Vardy is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mo Frazier! Mo Frazier decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
