Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Masa Wasa (ranked 2449 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Page (ranked 1592 p4p, 176 weight class). Wasa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Welcome To The Jungle. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 6 losses; Masa Wasa! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Dennis Page!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

Page felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Page drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wasa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Page has Wasa in his guard.

Wasa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Page swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wasa takes the fight on points by 20 to 4.
A relieved looking Masa Wasa thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Dennis Page was interviewed post fight and said 'I am at fault for this loss because I did not think my neighborhood hedge and tree trimmer was going to be able to fight since he spent no time in the gym...just outside cutting bush's...he is amazing at that for sure but still!'.
