Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Rodney Holzken (ranked 1757 p4p, 190 weight class) and Gaia Ky Jr (ranked 19000 p4p, 0 weight class). And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 6 losses; Gaia Ky Jr! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Ky Jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Holzken defends well and Ky Jr ends up having to push Holzken into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Holzken scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
