TWGC 19 (155lbs, D1): Las Vegas Qualifier - Round 1 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jonqw Fray (ranked 3961 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ishiihara Sakuraba (ranked 8429 p4p, 0 weight class). Ishiihara Sakuraba told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 2 losses; Jonqw Fray! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Ishiihara Sakuraba!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Sakuraba is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fray's half guard.
