The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Gloom is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Gloom escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kilpi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gloom had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kilpi defends it easily.
Gloom is looking for a triangle but Kilpi pushes his legs off easily.
Kilpi wants to pass the guard but Gloom is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gloom tries to buck Kilpi off but Kilpi is having none of it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Kilpi has hold of Gloom's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Gloom tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kilpi cranks the arm and Gloom screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Gloom, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
