Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Guido Gloom (ranked 2885 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarkko Kilpi (ranked 1791 p4p, 216 weight class). Kilpi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Solid Base - I Like It. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Guido Gloom! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 5 losses; Jarkko Kilpi! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Kilpi gets a double leg takedown into Gloom's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Gloom (0) vs (2) Kilpi Kilpi has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at CHRISTOPHERS MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Gloom is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gloom escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kilpi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gloom had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kilpi defends it easily. Gloom is looking for a triangle but Kilpi pushes his legs off easily.
Kilpi wants to pass the guard but Gloom is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kilpi stands and throws Gloom's legs to the side, diving into side control. Score +3 for passing guard: Gloom (0) vs (5) Kilpi Gloom tries to buck Kilpi off but Kilpi is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kilpi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Gloom struggling a bit here. Kilpi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gloom keeps working. Kilpi moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Kilpi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kilpi working away.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kilpi tries for a kimura but Gloom is defending well. Kilpi has hold of Gloom's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Gloom tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kilpi cranks the arm and Gloom screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Gloom, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
