Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kurt Angeles (ranked 7128 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paea Talanoa (ranked 5804 p4p, 0 weight class). Talanoa has chosen Tonga as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Talanoa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Angeles tries to avoid it but Talanoa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Angeles to the ground. Angeles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Angeles is fighting off a takedown attempt but Talanoa is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Angeles to the mat. Angeles regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Angeles (0) vs (2) Talanoa

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Angeles working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Talanoa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Talanoa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Angeles had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Talanoa defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Angeles tries to get to full guard but Talanoa has control of the leg.
