Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cassius Slay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Alejandro La Salle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cassius Slay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Alejandro La Salle! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! La Salle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slay but Slay pushes him off and we're back to square one. La Salle looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Slay lands a with a good body shot. Slay lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Slay. La Salle tries to keep at a distance but Slay has taken the fight into the clinch. A shot in the inside from Slay. Slay pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Slay instigates a clinch. A nice left hand lands by Slay.
A shot in the inside from Slay. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Slay stalling.
Slay gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Slay creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Slay works on La Salle's body with a couple of short punches. A bit of stalling here from Slay.
Slay lands a right hand. Still in the clinch, Slay scores with a nice short uppercut. Slay lands a nice shot to the body. Slay scores with a shoulder strike. Slay digs a right hand into La Salle's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on La Salle's gas tank. Slay holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Slay breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Slay creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Slay slows down the pace here.
Slay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
La Salle has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Slay finds it's way round the side to connect with La Salle's head. La Salle shoots in for a takedown but Slay shows good takedown defense. Slay moves into the clinch successfully.
Slay breaks from the clinch.
Slay pushes La Salle up against the cage in a clinch. Slay stalling in the clinch.
Slay creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Slay slows down the pace here.
Slay works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

A nice left hand lands by Slay.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slay lands with a left to the head. Slay pushes off an throws an elbow but La Salle leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Slay manages to break the clinch.
Slay rushes La Salle and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Slay is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
La Salle wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Slay lands with a left to the head. Slay lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Slay lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Slay breaks the clinch.
Slay has taken the fight to the clinch.
Slay will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning La Salle up against the cage. Slay throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Slay scores with a shot to the side of La Salle's head. Nice body punch from Slay - that landed with a thud.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Slay throws an elbow that misses.
La Salle avoids a wild elbow strike from Slay. Slay works on La Salle's body with a couple of short punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. La Salle on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Slay throws an elbow but it misses.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Slay throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but La Salle blocks it with crossed arms. A quick uppercut on the inside from Slay. La Salle blocks the elbow strike.
Slay scores with an uppercut up the middle. La Salle on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Slay lands with a left to the head. La Salle dodges an elbow strike from Slay.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Slay takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Slay manages to break the clinch.
La Salle takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Slay displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Slay throws a series of strikes that have La Salle backpedaling.
Slay with a nice cross.
La Salle is rocked! BOOM! Slay lands a beautiful left hook that drops La Salle. La Salle tries to recover but Slay is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and La Salle lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cassius Slay!
