Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Huso Cevap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lynikif Rodward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodward is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pod - Alive . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodward closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The strikes coming from Rodward are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Rodward tries to move into full mount but can't pass Cevap's legs.

Cevap is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Rodward tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rodward has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cevap throws a low kick but Rodward avoids it.

and Rodward counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cevap won't be happy with that.

Cevap is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rodward has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
